Oxford Worldwide Assistance is an organisation
dealing with individual medical emergency situations
worldwide for people who are taken ill or injured while
abroad.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer a personal
service that is tailored to our clients individual
needs.
We work primarily as a private Assistance Company
dealing with helping and repatriating travellers with
medical problems overseas.
We can work on behalf of travel insurers or corporations
to assist their clients in the safest and most
economical way. Alternately we can offer the same
service to anyone who has had the misfortune to be
un-insured and unwell while overseas. However we extend
our services further than the normal assistance role.
About Us
Oxford Worldwide Assistance was born out of several
existing services in the Emergency Travel and Assistance
field, to form a highly specialised and highly
experienced group dedicated to arranging and undertaking
your repatriation if you are unfortunate enough to be
ill or injured while abroad.
We have direct access to specialist assistance travel
agents and also have a global network of Assistance
Companies, Flight Agents, Ambulance Services, Taxi
Services, Hotel Booking Services etc.
With this extensive network of expertise and specialist
contacts, our aim is to be able to help you whatever
your situation and to provide you with the best service
possible while keeping the costs to a minimum and the
level of service to a maximum.

Repatriation and Evacuation

We specialise in medical repatriation, whether it is
to your country of residence or to suitable medical
facilities in the area where you are travelling, in
the safest and most cost effective way.
This may simply entail arranging seats on a normal
airline to the country of residence or, at the other
end of the scale, we are able to mount effective
emergency evacuations involving air ambulance. |

Medical Care and Assistance
Our team will liaise with your treating doctors abroad
to organize and co-ordinate your care and repatriation
home.
If you require further inpatient care in your home area
we will arrange admission. Most patients can be
transferred on a scheduled flight, either on a stretcher
or seated. A medical escort, doctor or nurse, is
provided if required.
On top of this just some of the things we are able to
arrange are flights for patient’s relatives,
accommodation, assistance with visas, referrals to money
transfer companies, embassy and consulate liaisons, and
should the worst happen the repatriation of deceased
persons.
Our complete door to door service for insured or private
uninsured patients is, above all else, individualized
and personalized. We keep you informed each step of way
and provide accurate costs from the outset.
